When I saw the ad on Craigslist for this job, I called the number. Their lies began with this first phone call. I was going to need a job because I knew that I was going to be evicted from my apartment where I lived for ten years, and I needed to build up my bank account for the moving expenses. When I asked David for the name of the company, he replied, 'Manhattan Safety'. That was bullshit. I already knew the name of the company, Manhattan Fire and Safety Inc. after I hung up the call, I looked at Google and Yelp reviews for this company. The reviews ranged from annoyed to horrible. That's why he didn't give me the full name of the company. He is so desperate for employees that he has to lie to them. Under normal circumstances, I would not work for a company with such a bad reputation, but desperate times called for desperate measures.
