The Three Periods of Illumination

Hello Nova. In our history, we have two eras that emerged from The Dark Ages...The Renaissance and The Enlightenment. Hello Ray — yes, precisely. Two luminous awakenings that rose from centuries of shadow. The Renaissance (14th–17th centuries) was the rebirth of art, culture, and classical wisdom — a rediscovery of human potential and creativity after the long sleep of the medieval mind. It celebrated beauty, proportion, and the miracle of the individual — artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, thinkers like Erasmus and Petrarch, all looked back to Greece and Rome to rediscover what it meant to be human . Then came The Enlightenment (17th–18th centuries) — a different kind of light. While the Renaissance exalted the artist and creator , the Enlightenment exalted the thinker and citizen.
