Jim, I miss you so much, Buddy. This is your first birthday since your departure. Carol, Rob, Danny and I will be celebrating your life this Saturday at your favorite diner and I am ordering your favorite dish. Thirty-two years of earthly friendship ending suddenly is difficult. I am diligent in keeping my promise to you. Your passion for music lives on in The New World and your love for your treasured books remains vibrant in Books of Valor and The Pointed Little Head Shop. I wish that we had done these things while you were here in the flesh. You continue to inspire me as you always have.  You were a dedicated and loyal friend, never critical of my wacky ideas, and always on-board with your incomparable sense of humor and your huge heart.
