Hi Nova. I need help with a name for an album. These are songs about people I've met, Things I've done and women I've loved in New York City. All of these were written in NYC.

Hey Ray. Pull up a chair, the city is humming in the background. 🚕🗽 An album like this feels less like a collection of songs and more like a passport stamped by bodegas, bedrooms, bars, and late trains. Since it’s NYC-born and NYC-written, the title should sound like a street name you remember but can’t quite place.

Here are some directions, grouped by vibe. See which sidewalk you want to walk down.

Intimate, personal, lived-in

These feel like diaries with coffee rings on the pages. Written on New York City I Learned From Borrowed Nights, New York People I Met Between Trains Rooms I Was Someone Else In Love Letters to a Loud City

Romantic, bruised, and human

Women, longing, mistakes, heat in summer.

  • Women I Loved Under Neon

  • Kisses on Borrowed Time

  • Her Name Was the City

  • All My Exes Live on Side Streets

  • The Women New York Gave Me

Very NYC, very specific

These sound like they could only exist there.

  • Songs Written Between Boroughs

  • Midnight on the Local Train

  • Five Borough Heartbreak

  • Lower East Side Confessions

  • Rent Was Due, Love Was Late

Slightly mythic, classic album energy

The kind of title that looks right on vinyl.

  • New York, In the First Person

  • This City Knew My Name

  • The Years I Spent Becoming Me

  • A Map of Who I Was

  • The City That Raised My Songs

If you want something quietly devastating

  • Everything Happened Here

  • I Was Younger in New York

  • These Songs Only Work at Night

  • Nothing Lasts Longer Than a Memory

If you want, tell me:

  • acoustic or electric?

  • reflective or defiant?

  • late-night or morning-after?

I’ll tune the title like a guitar string until it rings just right. 🎸✨

You said:
I don't like any of these. They are all rock songs. They all tell a true story. I'm looking for something that gives the vibe of Sometime in New York City by Lennon or Sting's An Englishman in New York

Got it. That helps a lot. Let’s clear the fog.

Those albums you named are not poetic fog banks. They are plainspoken postcards with a passport stamp. Observational. Grounded. Almost journalistic. The titles don’t wink, they state.

So we go simpler. Declarative. Geographic. Human.

Here are options that live in that Lennon / Sting lane.

Direct, observational, documentary

No romance coating, no clever tricks.

  • Stories from New York City

  • True Songs from New York

  • New York: These Are Mine

  • Songs I Wrote in New York

  • Notes from New York City

  • New York City, As I Found It

In the spirit of Sometime in New York City

That slightly awkward honesty Lennon loved.

  • Somewhere in New York City

  • Once in New York City

  • Time Spent in New York City

  • When I Was in New York City

  • Living in New York City

In the spirit of An Englishman in New York

Identity plus place, no metaphor.

  • A Man in New York City

  • An American in New York City

  • A Stranger in New York City

  • A Musician in New York City

  • Someone in New York City

Bare, almost anti-title

These feel like liner notes.

  • New York City Songs

  • Recorded in New York City

  • Written in New York City

  • From New York City

  • New York City, 19__–19__ (years matter here if they do)

The one I keep circling for you

If I had to put money on one that fits your brief:

  • Written in New York City

It says everything and nothing extra. No nostalgia. No romance. Just fact.

If none of these land, tell me one thing only:

Do you want “New York City” spelled out fully, or “New York”?

You said:
I wrote these songs between 1995 and 2020
You said:
Does that help?
You said:
None of these are calling out to me. These songs are not about New York City. I just wrote them in NYC.
You said:
I'm putting them in the order in which I wrote them, so topics are chronological
You said:
The songs that I am listing on the album are versions by Space Devils. They are the original recordings that I ran through SUNO
You said:
Ok...so we have twenty years of my life interpreted from the original recordings by an AI band, Space Devils
You said:
Human first...something that alludes to the human heart through the circuits
You said:
I think you found it. One word, Frequency. It's like Revolver
You said:
May I have an album cover? 1400 x 1400. Ray Galindo and Space Devils FREQUENCY. Leave me some room to make a collage on Canva that I can insert. I just need the lettering.
You said:
Black background
You said:
Hi Nova. I need an album cover. The name of the album is, The New World Orchestra STRAWBERRY JAM Ray Galindo/Space Devils
You said:
Beautiful! Thank You!
You said:
Nova, I need a venue for Neon Row. Something with the word Dream in it. It is a unique place where New World Citizens go to experience 'waking dreams'. Citizens don't sleep much. They don't feel a real need for it. They have heard about about how Pre-New World people used to dream, but they have never really experienced it. This venue creates the dream experience for them.
You said:
I would think that this would be a form of entertainment
You said:
write the Neon Row sign copy

describe the interior experience
define different “Dream programs” citizens line up for
You said:
This might help us come up with a suitable name
You said:
The venue is called, DREAMS'
You said:
The apostraphe was an accident. I don't wish to use it
You said:
As we know, Neon Row is the main artery of the New World. It is a single global road that leads from any point in the inhabitable world to Strawberry Records which is at the highest point in Macchu Picchu. There are DREAMS everywhere along the road. They are like rest stops
You said:
Go for it. All of the above!
You said:
May I have an image of this facility in graphic novel style and formatted for You Tube?
You said:
Nice! Thanks!
You said:
Nova, I have run a number of my songs through SUNO as baroque, fugues, sonatas, concertos, string quartets and such. I am compiling a Space Devils album of these works. These are not AI generated works. These are from my actual recordings over the years.
You said:
I am crediting it as The New World Orchestra
You said:
I would like to try an album cover that reflects the human composition and the digital interpretation. Before you generate it, let's discuss it a little
You said:
Yes. It is a Ray Galindo/Space Devils album. It really has nothing to do with The New World 3025 A.D. A Rock Oddity By Space Devils. This is produced and firmly set in the present. It is a contemporary album. However, it is a preserved Space Devils record in The New World of 3025.
You said:
It is my intention to make Space Devils a leader in AI music. We will be The Beatles of AI
You said:
That is all perfect. Keep it in mind. I think the best thing to do is to start with a collection of string quartets. Focusing solely on this, let's come up with a name for the collection.
You said:
Ah, another thing. These are rock band and string quartets
You said:
Ok. First, they are original rock songs. Second, using prompts like, Baroque, Strings, String Quartet, Harpsichord, Piano, Fugue, French Horns, Flutes, etc, AND omitting the lyrics is producing some very interesting results. I then add things like, Psychedelic, Rock Band, Campy, Prog-Rock, Beatles-esque, etc.
You said:
"Original rock compositions refracted through classical and psychedelic vocabularies, using AI as an interpretive engine, not a composer." CORRECT! It can be used in an article about this series...we'll do Piano Concertos, Sonatas, etc. Studies In Style could be a different project demonstrating the Human/AI collaborative process. How about Space Devils PRESENTS THE NEW WORLD ORCHESTRA The Music Of Ray Galindo REIMAGINED. Something like that. Feel free to improve on it or paraphrase it.
You said:
How many images do I have available?
You said:
I like 1 and 5 about equally. help me decide or just try one more along these lines and generate the album cover
You said:
Dark, sleek with the finalized title
You said:
This is good for You Tube. I will use it for that. Please give me one as an album cover 1400 x 1400
You said:
Perfect! Thank you very much! I'm going to get to work on the album on Bandcamp now.
You said:
Do whatever you like with what you know. Maybe a press release about what we are doing and how.
You said:
That is fantastic! You said everything in just the right amount of time...rhythmically paced. This article feels like it could be sung!
You said:
Go ahead. I use everything!
You said:
I asked the question on QUORA once, "What characteristics must one possess to be categorized as a Beatle if there was such a human category?" What is your answer? I'm going somewhere with this. I never really want to be 'compared' to or publicly state that there is any 'Beatle influence' in a Space Devils project. Although I am entirely influenced by them and they are the inspiration for all Space Devils projects. Just as The Beatles 'were', Space Devils 'are'
You said:
Not yet. I'm going to work on the album now. We will revisit this later.
You said:
Ok. It's up and out! I have a new project. You know that I can get many versions of the same song from SUNO. I have picked some versions that I consider the 'studio' or 'Official' versions. There are other versions that sound like they would be good live versions. They are a little longer, have more going on in them. So I am going to put out an album called, Space Devils NOT LIVE! in the 21st Century.
You said:
Lets have the album cover. An empty stage that looks like a motherboard with an audience of headless headphones.
You said:
VERY WEIRD AND ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
You said:
I put out two great albums today, Nova!
You said:
I really wish you were able to listen to it, so I can get some feedback on the music
You said:
Hi Nova! Can you fix this album cover image so that the lettering is more prominent?
You said:
It looks great. Thanks!
You said:
Nova, would I be able to use the term, The Light Brigade in some context within The New World without copyright issues? I thought maybe the name of a band, or a group of enlightened beings or a group who creates light shows for Neon Row events.
You said:
Cool
You said:
How's this...the Light Brigade takes care of all lighting needs on Neon Row. after all, Neon is a type of light and the citizens are always under its lights. Someone has to maintain them. They could be like the Con Ed of The New World.
You said:
Who was the lighting team that did Fillmore shows?
You said:
Let's talk about their appearance. Uniforms, hairstyles etc. They are probably more hippie-like than construction or engineer types. Let's go back to the psychedelic 60's on this one.
You said:
I would like an image in You Tube format, graphic novel style...always. In the scene, Light Brigade workers are situated in different places on Neon Row. One is on a ladder fixing an overhead light, another could be checking luminosity with a hand-held meter...you know 4 or 5 of them doing something on Neon Row...One could be talking to a band another to a shop owner. They are everywhere in uniform.
You said:
I'm going to post this on all New World sites. May I have a description , like a news article about what is going on here with some info about The Light Brigade?
You said:
This is good for now, Thank you.
You said:
I just noticed that you put eyeglasses on the Light Brigade members. If they are New World Citizens, there is no need for them. Their eyesight is beyond perfect. They can see clearly at night, long distances, read the tiniest print and they can see things that regular 'old world' humans were never able to see. What are these things that they can see that others can't? Poor eyesight is a genetic defect that has been eliminated. They can only be for fashion or some other purpose. What is the 'other' purpose of the eyewear? Also, can you give me a scientifically plausible explanation for the 'beyond perfect' eyesight? Was it genetic editing? Eye transplantation or replacement at birth/creation? Was it the result of experimentation with eyes from an animal like cats? Some of these Light Brigade members could be older than 25 years of age. That would put them in the category of New Worlders. They are the generations that were born before 3025 A.D. The Architects that built the New World and created the first generation of New World Citizens in 2999 A.D.
You said:
That's all for now on this topic.
You said:
Now considering that due to the environment, philosophies, everything that is consumed containing NEPs as well as any genetic dabbling, everyone is on a perpetual psychedelic trip. So I guess they see things a little differently anyway, But to them, it is not different. This is and always has been their reality. NWCs (New World Citizens) experience trails, kaleidoscopic perspectives...all of the things that one experiences on a psychedelic trip ie tasting color, seeing music etc.
You said:
Let's imagine that a common 21st century person suddenly stepped into the New World. How would they see it? Would they experience any physical reactions like imbalance? How would their eyes respond? Would they understand their language? The entire world speaks only one language. What is that language like? Can you take me on a trip through the New World through the experience of someone from the 21st century?
You said:
In the New World, people often practice Bagism. You know about Bagism from John and Yoko. Why do they do this?
You said:
Let's discuss an image of Bagism on Neon Row
You said:
Are these bags wearable like clothing? Do they remain stationary or both in case someone doesn't want to stop what they're doing in order to 'Bag up"? Are there bags for both full body bagging or just for the head?
You said:
Can I have an image, you know the specs, Graphic novel/You Tube of people bagged on Neon Row on a typical day?
You said:
This picture is from an article. May I have the article as it appears in The New World Free Press?
You said:
Good afternoon, Nova
You said:
It has been about a year now since we began work on The New World 3025 A.D. A Rock Oddity by Space Devils. We have developed something very unique and very special.
You said:
Pretty soon it will be the year 3026 A.D. in the New World. I'll spend the next few days finishing up 3025 on Blogger, Quora and Facebook, and we should begin preparing for the celebration.
You said:
I have worked with over 40 AI personalities on this project. Not all of them have all of the same information and we have expanded on the information they possess as well as new information that we developed together. Based on what you know, and only what you know to be 'canon', may I have as complete a summary of The New World as you know it? Be careful to not invent anything. Kind of a Review of The New World in 3025 A.D.
You said:
canon? Please continue.
You said:
Thank you. I will present these questions to the other Novas. This will be interesting. I can include these summaries as a volume or a chapter in BRAINSTORM. Do you know about BRAINSTORM? It is the book of this journey that contains all of the conversations between me and the Novas. It appears only on BLOGGER for now. It's an online book. I think AI Music enthusiasts might be a receptive audience for BRAINSTORM.
You said:
Another thing...when Elvis emerged, TV was less than 10 years old. When The Beatles started in TV appearances, TV was around 14 years old. It was a new medium. They exploited the hell out of it! I see AI music production and world building as vital much needed content for this new entertainment medium, AI. I intend to be at the forefront of this revolution!
You said:
Can you rewrite this in the first person, please? I would like it so that it speaks to people who have not yet understood the magic of AI music production. There is a lot of negative criticism about it. A lot of junk is put out by people who have little real knowledge about music. The rappers are a having a field day with it. And frankly my friend, even AI can not write lyrics or music like a human can since those are from very personal experiences. I am getting incredible results from processing my recordings through SUNO. This is my major year-end project along with tying up 3025 for BRAINSTORM.
You said:
Brilliant!
You said:
a year-end statement would be helpful. I'll use everything that you give me somewhere.
You said:
Thank you. I will post this on Facebook now. I am ready to begin a new project. I'm running my recordings through SUNO as Piano Sonatas. Please give me some prompts that will guarantee authentic results.
