Writing From The Heart ~ Tampa, Florida 2009 - 2012 SEO Writer – This was interesting…I became a better writer.
My Tele-Sales career began in 1984. I have sold orchestra, magazine and book subscriptions, pest control, carpet cleaning and beeper services. I have worked on political and fund-raising telephone campaigns, and in Market Research.
I have worked as a theatre technician, and I was an independent business owner for twenty-five years running a popular performance art gallery in Florida for six years and a successful book store in Austin, Texas and in Greenwich Village for sixteen years. I have served as a volunteer for a public radio station and two regional theatre companies and as a Volunteer Coordinator at an At-Risk Youth Center. I was also the Mad Scientist, Dr. Mars entertaining patrons at the popular theme restaurant, Mars 2112 in Manhattan. That was a fun job!
I will only take on endeavors in which I believe that the product or service being offered is truly beneficial to the customer or to the community. I have worked in customer service for my entire working life. I believe that I have acquired the skills and discipline that are necessary to adapt and succeed in most work environments.
I have an excellent telephone manner ; I am very articulate and conversational, and I never sound like I am reading a script Able to quickly and gracefully counter objections with relevant rebuttals Very customer-service oriented and an efficient problem solver I posses excellent written and verbal communication skills A good researcher Proficient with various computer applications and programs and a quick study with new programs and technology Always available, punctual, industrious, ready to work, and I always welcome the opportunity to acquire new skills
I have lost friends and family to the virus and I am in ‘war against Covid' mode. I am fully vaccinated, and I adhere to the CDC’s safety protocols. I am encolsing my vaccination card. As for working in cold weather, I did it for years, so I am accustomed to it. The Covid pandemic destroyed my job with Librarian's Book Express. I have been home for two years, and I am eager to return to work. I am able to assist in many ways, and I will commit to working as many hours in any capacity as I am needed. I can begin immediately. This would be an excellent opportunity for me to assist in defeating the pandemic. In a way, it would be sweet revenge!
Thank you for
